The Pentecost University College (PUC) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the London South Bank University (LSBU) and the Association of Business Executives (ABE) to do collaborative programmes as part of the school’s strategic plan.
The tripartite network which comprises of Pentecost University College, the Association of Business Executives and London South Bank University is to create an academic platform for exchange programmes for students to compete globally.
The Association of Business Executives programme is an innovative and advanced programme which commenced with 20 students’ and has progressed steadily to 360 students’since its inception for the past five years at the Pentecost University College.
The Rector of Pentecost University College, Dr. Daniel Okyere Walker in explaining the importance of the collaboration said: “This agreement is going to provide a top – up education for the ABE and HND graduates and what it means is that, when students complete their ABE programme at level five or six Diploma, they can then move on to a top-up degree programme with London South Bank University within one academic year.
“It (ABE programme) is more industry related and the more reason why we brought London South Bank University into this agreement is that, they, in the past have been a Polytechnic Institute mainly technology based before becoming a full University”
“After students have been enrolled on the London South Bank University and graduated, they can easily continue to do a masters programme with the same school.”
