Nduom promises to revive the Afif3 rice factory like he did for the Worawora factory if he wins
Flagbearer of the Progressive People’s Party, Dr. Papa Kwesi Nduom has promised the people of Fenyi in the North Dayi constituency of the Volta region he will revamp the collapsed Afif? Rice Factory if the PPP is voted into power.
Speaking to teeming supporters at Fenyi on Monday, Dr. Papa Kwesi Nduom said the Worawora Rice Factory should be a shining example to affirm the PPP’s ability to effect change. “You are growing rice but that rice is not giving you much money in your pockets because there is no factory.
I want you to go to Worawora to see that the Worawora Rice Factory is working today. “5, 000 rice farmers at Worawora, here in Volta region, are benefiting today.
I want to tell you that because we know what to do, if you vote for the PPP the Worawora Rice Factory will work properly,” he said. Dr. Nduom advised the people not to vote for the NDC because they admire NDC’s founding leader, Jerry John Rawlings.
“I know some people, even some people here [at the campaign grounds] like the NDC because J. J Rawlings was a president. But is he a president today? Is he even campaigning for the NDC? They are even insulting him, not so? “So, why should you continue to follow someone who is not helping you and insulting your leader [Rawlings]?”
Dr. Papa Kwesi Nduom is currently on a campaign tour in the Volta region canvassing for votes as December 7 fast approaches.
