Invest in Africa is set to partner with the Ministry of Business Development on developing mutually beneficial SME growth programmes.
The company led by the Country Manager, Samuel Brandfu, paid a courtesy call on the Minister of Business development, Mr. Ibrahim Mohammed Awal.
In view of the government’s commitment to the development of the private sector especially, with regards to Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), the visit from IIA emphasised the synergies between the role IIA plays in identifying and tackling the challenges of doing business in Africa and the shared ambition to deliver more impactful and cost efficient solutions.
The minister acknowledged areas of possible collaboration between his ministry and the work that Invest in Africa is currently executing in Ghana, which includes SME development through its Business Excellence Programmes (BEP) and the African Partner Pool (APP), an online platform that provides access to markets for businesses.
IIA is a cross-sector partnership of companies with the vision to create thriving African economies by working closely with both public and private sector organizations.
