Senior management personnel of Groupe Nduom are currently locked up in a meeting at the Coconut Grove Beach Resort in Elmina, to take stock, strategize and forge ahead for the rest of the year.
This follows a recent fire that razed portions of the Coconut Grove Regency Hotel in Accra.
The meeting, which is under the theme: “Protecting Our Customers, Our People and Our Businesses”, forms part of Groupe Nduom’s regular management process which usually happens in April to review first quarter results.
This year’s first quarter management meeting is taking place in a month that the Groupe has experienced major challenges – stadium roof ripping off, challenging times in some financial institutions due to 2016 economic circumstances and the Regency fire among others.
That notwithstanding, the President and Chairman of the Groupe, Dr Papa Kwesi Nduom, believes: “This is an opportunity to regroup, take corrective actions and resolve to get back on track to dominance in our respective businesses.”
There will be spiritual guidance during the meeting since Groupe Nduom is built on a foundation of faith, an earlier statement from the Groupe added.
Safety and Protection in terms of the Groupe’s data, physical facilities and its human resource is being given priority during the meeting.
So far, the Groupe’s disaster recovery procedures have already been activated with all the business units which got affected by fire at the Regency compound resuming full operations.
GN Bank and Gold Coast have all been set up at the old Gold Coast compound right next to the Regency Hotel. Amansan Television (ATV) and Business Television Africa (BTA) have also joined their mother company First Digital Television at Asylum Down.
