Goldstar Air, a wholly owned Ghanaian airline is set to select its cabin crew at Airside hotel, in Accra on Wednesday 28th September and Thursday 29th September 2016 as part of the first phase of the company´s recruitment exercise for some Ghanaian professionals.
The recruitment which will be free of charge and by appointment only, will be done by professionals from the aviation industry. Selected applicants according to authorities will be trained at the Ghana civil aviation authority and later the company´s Hub in the Caribbean for our flights to and from the Caribbean to North American and Europe.
According to Mr Eric Bannerman the CEO of Goldstar Air, “Our European Hub will be Stansted airport which will also service flights going to Accra
and the Caribbean, making some picks up in some European cities before its destination in the Caribbean. Our Hub in the Caribbean will see some Ghanaian cabin crew interchanging and working within cities in the Caribbean and North America”.
Mr Bannerman also disclosed that the company is working closely with a Ghanaian Bank to purchase more aircrafts.
Meanwhile plans are far advance to bring in more aircrafts for the company´s multiple destinations which will benefit both the bank and Goldstar Air. Also, the bank will be opening branches in all destinations of the aircraft to take care of banking needs and that will create more employment for Ghanaians.
However, Goldstar Air is yet to get delivery of a private jet which will serve as a private and executive charter flight for Presidents, Government officials, Diplomatic officials including individuals and corporate bodies.
“We will arrange private immigration and customs for all our private and executive charters for our clients to and from any country from our European Hub”. Mr Bannerman said.
