Prince Bright, popular Ghanaian hiplife rapper of the Buk Bak fame got married in a private ceremony in Bronx New York. The Event, held at a private residence in the South Bronx was held in the early hours of Saturday, May 28.
Sources close to the families indicated that the traditional ceremony was a full-fledged Ghanaian Akan traditional marriage ceremony. The bride and groom were adorned in traditional Asante Kente and wore traditional gold jewelry.
Prince Bright has been a consistent feature on the Ghanaian Hiplife scene and has been one of the pioneers of Hiplife in Ga alongside Tinny.
This comes, as Promzy, former VIP Member revealed on his facebook page Wednesday that, he’s forming a group with Prince with BP being their group name. BP represents their popular names –Bright and Promzy. “Bigger things coming…promzy bright=to BP..LOL DAYS getting closer…have a lovely day kings n queens,” Promzy stated .
Price Bright has remained largely quiet and out of active hiplife scene after the death of his music partner in 2013. Prince Bright also has remained tight-lipped about the occasion and couldn’t be reached for comments.
